1. Strategy and channel selection

Most small businesses spread themselves across five platforms and fail at all of them. We do the opposite. Discovery starts with answering a single question: where do your actual customers spend time and where does your business story land best. For service businesses that usually means LinkedIn plus one of Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube. For local retail and restaurants, Instagram plus TikTok. For B2B, LinkedIn primary. We pick one or two channels to do well rather than five channels to do badly.

2. Content production

Static posts, short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts), carousels, longer-form video, written posts. We produce the content based on a monthly content calendar tied to your overall marketing themes. Most small-business engagements include 12-20 pieces of social content per month across one to two platforms.

3. Community management

Responding to comments, DMs, and engagement signals. Light community work is included in our monthly retainers; heavy community management (responding to hundreds of comments per week) is a separate add-on. Either way, response times matter, most platforms reward accounts that respond to engagement within 24 hours.

4. Paid amplification

Organic reach on every platform has declined. The math: it is no longer realistic to grow a brand with organic posting alone. We run small, targeted paid boosts on the top-performing organic posts, typically $200-$1,000 per month per platform, that extend reach without requiring full paid-campaign management. For clients who want full paid social, we run that as part of a larger paid program scoped separately.

5. Reporting

Monthly reports cover follower growth, engagement rate, click-through rate to your website, and (for clients with conversion tracking set up) the leads or sales attributable to social. We report on the metrics that connect back to your business, not the vanity metrics that look pretty but mean nothing.

Pricing Monthly retainers run from low four figures for single-platform engagements with 12-15 pieces of content per month to mid five figures for multi-platform engagements with heavy video production and active community management. We share specifics on the discovery call based on your goals, platforms, and content volume.

Results Engagement metrics move in weeks. Follower growth compounds over months three to twelve. Direct revenue attribution from social is harder than from search or email, it tends to show as “increased brand awareness” first and then as lift in inbound inquiries and direct site visits over six to twelve months.

General We produce the content. For visual-product or service-business clients we either work from photo and video assets the client provides, schedule a quarterly content shoot (in-person for NY/NJ clients, remote for everyone else), or produce graphic-based content using design tools. Most clients land on a mix.

General Some will. The realistic ratio for most small businesses is that 1-3% of engaged followers eventually become customers. The bigger lift from social is brand recognition and trust-building, customers who saw you on social for six months before buying often convert through search or email, not from the social post directly.

General Light paid boosting is included in our standard engagements (a few hundred dollars per month per platform). Full paid social campaign management, multiple campaigns, A/B testing creative at scale, retargeting funnels, is a separate engagement scoped based on monthly ad budget.

General One or two. Almost never more than three. The math on social is that platform-specific performance scales with consistency, and most small businesses cannot produce consistent quality across more than two channels. We pick the right one or two for your business and ignore the rest.
