How Bright Marketing Solutions works with clients, week by week, deliverable by deliverable. Most agency engagements are opaque until the second month when the work is supposed to start producing. We do it differently. The process below is the same for every engagement, scoped to fit your budget and timeline.
Phase 1: Discovery (weeks 1-2)
Week 1: Audit and intake
Day-one onboarding call with you and your team. We pull every piece of marketing data you have, Google Analytics, Search Console, Facebook/Meta Business Manager, your CRM, your email platform, current paid-ad accounts. We document where you are, what is working, and what is not. Output: a written audit report (10-30 pages typically) covering your current state, competitive landscape, and the largest growth opportunities.
Week 2: Strategy and 90-day plan
We turn the audit into a written 90-day plan. Specific deliverables, target keywords, content topics, ad campaigns, and reporting metrics. The plan goes to you for review and approval before any production work starts. Most clients spend two to four hours of executive time across week 2 reviewing the plan and providing input.
Phase 2: Foundation (weeks 3-6)
Week 3: Technical setup
Conversion tracking installed and verified across every channel. Google Tag Manager configured. Analytics goals defined. CRM integrations validated. Call tracking phone numbers provisioned where relevant. Email/SMS platform connected to website forms. By end of week 3 you can see exactly which channel produces which lead.
Weeks 4-5: Content and on-page
Website on-page SEO work begins, title tags, meta descriptions, schema markup, internal linking, image alt text, page speed. Initial content production starts based on the 90-day plan: usually two pillar pages or four supporting blog posts in this window. Service-page rewrites happen here if the audit identified weak service pages.
Week 6: Campaign launch
Paid search, paid social, or display campaigns go live. Email nurture sequences activated. Direct mail (if part of the engagement) enters the production pipeline for in-home dates 4-6 weeks out. By end of week 6 every channel in your plan is producing.
Phase 3: Optimization (weeks 7-12)
Weekly check-ins
Every week we send a written status update covering what shipped, what is in production, what is performing well, what is underperforming, and what we are changing. The update goes by email and is also covered on a 30-minute weekly call (which we will skip if you want, the written update is the source of truth).
Monthly reporting
End of each month: a written report with the metrics that matter. Channel-by-channel performance, leads by source, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, ROI per channel, ranking movement on target keywords, and direct attribution of revenue to channels where the data supports it. The report is written, not just a dashboard, we tell you the story, not just the numbers.
Continuous optimization
Underperforming campaigns get reworked or killed. Winners get more budget. Content gets refreshed when performance dips. New tests run every 2-4 weeks. The program does not coast, every month we are tightening something.
Phase 4: Scaling (months 4-12+)
Once the program is producing predictably, we scale: more content production, expanded paid budgets on proven campaigns, additional channels added based on what the data says will compound. By month six most clients have a stable monthly baseline that grows month-over-month.
What we expect from clients
The engagement works best when:
- You commit to a six-month minimum (SEO and content do not compound in three weeks)
- You respond to questions and review work within 2-3 business days
- You give us honest feedback (we cannot fix what we do not know is broken)
- You let us see the back-end data, sales numbers, CRM activity, sales call recordings, so we can connect marketing to revenue
- You trust our process for the first 90 days; if it is not working by month 4, we have a real conversation about why
What we do not do
- We do not guarantee specific rankings or specific lead counts. Anyone who does is lying.
- We do not buy links, run private blog networks, or chase any tactic that risks Google penalty.
- We do not bill hourly. Flat monthly retainers with clear deliverables.
- We do not mark up media spend. Your card pays Google and Meta directly.
- We do not work with industries we have no experience in. We will tell you on the discovery call if your category is outside our wheelhouse.
How long are typical engagements?
Project work (one-time strategy, one-time website build) runs 6-12 weeks. Ongoing marketing programs are monthly retainers with a six-month minimum and most clients stay 18-36 months. Some have been with us since 2015 when Bright Marketing Solutions started. We are not built for short-term contractor relationships, we are built for clients who want a marketing partner for the long run.
