Some of the best marketing has nothing to do with campaigns. This season, Bright Marketing Solutions sponsored the Dumont Girls Softball program, and we just got the kind of performance report we like most: a thank-you note from the league and a photo of a team of young athletes who spent a season developing their skills, building friendships, and gaining confidence on the field.
Our name rode along on the back of every jersey, but the season belonged to the players and to Coaches O’Leary, Carmona, Munoz, Dennis, and Marsicano, who gave up their evenings and weekends to make it happen. Congratulations on a great season.

Why a marketing agency sponsors youth softball
We tell our clients that showing up in your community beats shouting at it. Bergen County is our home market: our clients are the contractors, dentists, law firms, and local businesses that sponsor these same teams, coach these same kids, and serve these same families. Putting our name on a jersey is not a lead-generation tactic. It is what local businesses do, and we would rather practice what we recommend than just recommend it.
To the Dumont Girls Softball program: thank you for having us, and count us in for next season.
If your New Jersey league or community program is looking for sponsors, or if you are a local business wondering whether community sponsorship is worth it (short answer: yes, for reasons that have nothing to do with marketing), say hello.
